Auto-buys!

I want to know what your AUTO-BUYS are? The authors you have to buy despite having a To Be Read pile already bigger than yourself in height, no money in the purse, the credit card maxed to the limit etc.

In Single Title mine are:

  • Dorothy Koomson - that woman should be on your MUST-BUY list too.
  • Lisa Jewell - have loved her since Ralph's Party
  • Jenny Crusie - never laugh so hard as when I'm reading a Crusie novel.
  • Marian Keyes & Jodi Picoult (although I haven't read their last two books as I'm not reading nearly as much as I'd like at the moment).
In Category romance mine are:

  • Heidi Rice - nuff said :)
  • Kelly Hunter - I bow down!
  • Bronwyn Jameson - always a keeper.
  • Sarah Mayberry - GOLD
  • Anna Cleary - unputdownable!

Mine? Oh, that's a hard one. I do have lots! Too many in ST to list. For category pretty much the same as yours except I would include Natalie Anderson.

So many wonderful authors - not enough time or money.

Single Title - I agree with Jennie Crusie. Plus Rachel Gibson, Susan Elizabeth Phillips, Kristan Higgins.

In Category: Sarah Morgan, Sarah Mayberry, Karina Bliss, Marilyn Pappano,

I have a lot more but those are some of my all time favourites.

Couldn't possibly list all of the cata romance authors that kill my wallet! As for ST, Tami Hoag. Don't care what she writes, I'll buy it.

I've only read one of Sarah Mayberry's books so far, but I'll be doing my best to get my paws on her back list. Anything For You might be my favourite Harlequin ever.

hmmm.... most are STs, because I don't read as much category these days (too busy writing it!) MaryJanice Davidson, Rachel Vincent, Maria V Snyder, Jennifer Weiner, Sophie Kinsella, Sarah Mlynowski, Johanna Lindsey, Keri Arthur, Charlaine Harris. Just to name a few :-)

Oooh yeah Jackie - how could I forget the brilliant and fabulous Nat Anderson?

HAve never read some of your ST authors Anne.. let me just pop over to Book Depository for a moment :)

Aideen - have never read Tami Hoag either. I'm obviously not as well read as I thought!

Very diverse list there Paula! If only there was more time to read, hey?
