Anyway apparently what I have to do is share seven random facts about myself and then nominate ten other deserving blog friends. So, here goes...
TEN RANDOM FACTS:
- I once appeared as an extra in a tv bank ad. It was filmed on a train and I wore a ghastly blue suit. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of the bank and never actually saw the ad.
- I liked the same boy for seven YEARS and only went out with him for FIVE MONTHS.
- I have a collection of Russ Trolls. I LOVE them and only wish I'd bought more when they were littering the shops.
- I have written a non-fiction book about the good, the bad and the ugly of breastfeeding - Breastfeeders Anonymous
- I didn't meet my dad till I was seventeen.
- My grandfather was a real life magician and he ROCKED.
- I was vegetarian for six months in year twelve after my human biology teacher turned me off meat by making us cut up a chicken. I could still live without it.
- I am a cat person. I always knew this but found out for sure when I finally got an Old English Sheepdog dog at 23. I love the dog too but cats just make more sense.
- I have the biggest pantry in our town.
- I have three occasionally gorgeous, frequently naughty but always lovable boys - all born by c-section.
And now for the tagging part. Other sweet bloggers are (in no particular order) who I award the Sweet Award to are:
- Jackie Ashenden
- Becca J Heath
- Scarlet Wilson
- Anita Joy
- Aimee Carson
- Leah Ashton
- Joanne Cleary
- Helene Young
- Fiona Palmer
- Cathryn Brunet
So hard to choose ten!

Awww, you ARE sweet, Rachael! Thanks for the nomination! And you DO have a most excellent blog.
I had no idea you wrote a non-fiction book on breastfeeding. Go you! Where can I find it?
Okay, skip the question LOL. Moron that I am, I didn't notice the clickable link you provided!
Think I need more coffee . . .
Argh! I bloody knew you'd tag me. You KNOW how hopeless I am with these things!
But congrats, SWEETIE!
Great insights Rach! We can be vego's together LOL!!
Love your tidbits Rach. lol... Oh, Trolls I have heaps of them. They were my daughters. :)
I didn't know a few of those facts. Interesting. :)
Thanks for that Rach! Interesting stuff indeed!
=)
Congrats on your non fiction, Rach! I love those trolls too but I'm afraid I have no collection to show for it. I'm intrigued by point two. Could there be a romance story in there somewhere?
Thanks RAch! Awesome facts. I loved that about your grandfather! Could be a story there hmmm?
Now I have to go off and think of seven of my own facts. Argh!
Don't know which one of these fascinated me more.....
Would really like to see a picture of the trolls!
Thanks Aimee!! And lol on the question re Breastfeeders Anonymous. If you'd like a cheaper copy than is available online email me Pink.Ink at gmail dot com and we'll talk!
Cathryn - feel privileged. I think of you when I think of good writing friends :)
Mel - at least I know I'm in good company!
Oh Suz - I'm jealous of your daughter's collection. I was always a bit of a fad collector as a child but these are the only collection I've kept and I want MORE!
:) Bec!
Lacey - as for a story... I guess it'd be one of lovers reunited and I've always wanted to write one of them. Actually I have got one in draft format somewhere - it's about a magician hero!
Jackie - see comment to Lacey - lol!
Susan - if I EVER finish the book I'm currently writing, I'll take a pic of those trolls and post it here. Deal?
Loved learning more about you Rach!
How cool that your grandad was a magician.
And you gotta love a big pantry ;))
E x
THanks Eleni! I always thought Grampa was pretty cool :) And sometimes a big pantry (aka a supermarket) is good, other times it's really bad for the hips!
Aww, thanks for the tag, Rach :)
Am curious about your trolls - you'll have to do a post about them (are they your muses in disguise?).
A x
